Bump^%%#^%& Thud$^$%O* Whack^%$#@ …….all the thrill about going home from one vacation to pack for the most awaited one just collapsed in a few seconds leaving me in excruciating pain. It was the month of Dec in 2016 while I was on a BLeisure trip […]
Less than a fortnight ago, the national Capital of India — New Delhi saw the 25th year celebration of the most awaited ‘SATTE’ which is South Asia’s leading b2b fair in the travel and tourism space. An extravagant clambake, this three day event played host to over a 1000 exhibitors and represented over 50 countries and 28 Indian states. There were hordes of Start-ups and well established players participating and attending it too…..Whoooooop!!! Shows the magnitude of the event. It had a line up of exotic and in vogue destinations such as Spain, Peru, Czech Republic, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Turkey, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Fiji, New Zealand, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Israel, Sharjah, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Mauritius, Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, Visit Russia, Visit Florida and Las Vegas and Oman to name a few.
There is huge potential for tourism in our country which is diverse in every way, especially with the travel trade industry growing at a bizarre pace. These days the middle class takes to every kind of travel from conventional to off the beaten itineraries. Exhibitions like these bring in newer and unchartered destinations and experiences to the Indian market every year in a mixed bag. So, if you belong to the travel industry, this event which takes place at the beginning of every year in New Delhi, is a worthwhile experience which should not be missed.
